How Does it Feel?
Simple, Clean, Intuitive
Something I keep noticing while building this…
Most course authoring tools and content platforms don’t actually have a feature problem.
If anything, they’ve got too much going on.
The issue is how they feel when you’re using them day to day.
You open them up and it’s just friction. Too many clicks to do something simple. Navigation that doesn’t quite make sense. Actions that behave differently depending on where you are. You end up spending more time working around the system than actually creating content.
That’s what I’ve been trying to avoid while building this platform.
A lot of the recent work hasn’t been visible stuff. It’s been things like:
- simplifying how you move between modules and lessons
- making content editing feel more direct
- reducing the steps needed to make small changes
It’s the kind of work that doesn’t show up in a feature list, but you feel it when you’re using it.
I’d rather this ends up being a content creation tool that feels straightforward to use every day, instead of something that looks powerful but becomes a chore.
Still a lot to refine, but it’s heading in a better direction than where it started.
